Carro Peak 3327m, Gran Paradiso National Park, NW of Italy.

I close the season with this classic ski mountaineering, with exceptional snow conditions, at 2500m there are still more than 3 meter of snow.
The environment in this part of the Alps is great, on a clear day you can see almost all of the Western Alps, from M.Blanc to the Suthern Alps and French Alps.

The route is not difficult climbing even though there are some points where they are needed crampons, especially this season.
The day was warm but not too allowing a stunning downhill on snow transformed very fast under the splitboard. The slopes are quite steep so perfect for snowboarding where to draw lines of absolute quality for a total of 1100m of vertical drop :headbang:

Seriously beautiful, if not possibly haunted… Did you scope the face in the mountainside? Right over by the contrail/shooting star…
