Planning to ride every day that I can and am looking to meet riding partners for both inbound laps and splitboard missions. Tend to ride inbounds M-F and would like to get to know BB really well this season. If I can join you or share rides please hit me up, thanks. Stoked on this new snow! December 7, 2013 at 4:25 pm #672105 generalyen 52 Posts Bridger sounds like fun, I doubt that slushmens is open but just an FYI you can’t ride the ridge without a beacon. December 7, 2013 at 5:19 pm #672106 H.R. Flufnstuf 97 Posts Equipped with B/S/P. I’m guessing the ridge terrain is kinda thin as yet and a few days inbounds won’t hurt to get my legs under me. December 19, 2013 at 2:46 am #672112 boppingshoe 83 Posts Anybody interested in a tour/mission to check out snow conditions this weekend (Friday ok too)? Snow pending, of course. December 20, 2013 at 1:05 am #672113 nordicbordn 225 Posts where you tryin to go? December 20, 2013 at 4:11 pm #672114 boppingshoe 83 Posts Only place around here I can think of is texas meadow/playground; places down south are still too thin to worth the effort (I think, somebody please prove me wrong). But I don’t have a Bridger pass so I’ll skin in from Bracket. I think the route into Texas is pretty mellow so I don’t have to worry about avalanche until I get close to the steeper stuff in playground. And if conditions are sketch, it’s not too bad to turn around. But most likely it’ll just be a day to meadow skip, ridding low angle stuff, and get in better shape. Bridger Bowl would definitely be more fun. If anybody is still interested, please pm me and let me know. December 21, 2013 at 12:07 am #672115 nordicbordn 225 Posts word. i was up there earlier in the week and was not too impressed with stability, but i felt confident enough to ski my slope (N. East of TX). Skied Wolverine on wednesday, but have not been back and probably wont for some time. I dont see avy danger in the bridgers approaching anything better than orange or red for awhile.
