I’ve been going up to AK for the past 3 seasons. The first year in Haines, and the past 2 based out of Anchorage. Both places are insane, excited to go back to Haines one day.
Here’s a few videos from those trips.

    Haines with Fly Drake:

Roadside runs camping out of a shitty rental car from Anchorage:

Thanks so much for the kind words fellas! We had a blast out there, it was a huge learning experience most of all. Going for anything unknown is always tough, i feel lucky we were able to get what were in search of!

Let this winter be plentiful! :doobie:

I have been out of Utah for the last few weeks, went up to PC ridgeline to see what the snow looked like.

Not very nice looking. Time to head north!

Found some great snow yesterday in upper BCC before the sun got to it. Whole lot of surface hoar growing up there right now.
The forecast is not looking to promising for more snow at the moment…

That place is the freekin best…Phil IS the genius behind RetallackA. I went riding there the year before Phil took over the place. The terrain is freekin is what interior BC is all about.

Provo bros.. How the freek did you not explode from 2 months of stoke!

-Shit yeah, Phil is the man! The entire staff up there are amazing, that place is a fun factory!

Such a well done, SICK video. I couldn’t stop laughing at the part where your bro had to literally put a snorkel in his mouth. To share all that with your brother is probably the best part. You guys are some talented dudes.

Not to Hijaack just to continue the face shot snorkel stoke, I spent sometime in the whiteroom this weekend and can’t wait for what’s to come this season.

I am a huge fan of Verts… There are some days when i bring them and they don’t leave my pack. But then there are those tours where they are absolutely essential. Its either balls deep post hole’n or easy ascending with the Verts. You really have to pick and choose the right days when to bring them. Steep and deep pow couloirs here in utah are a perfect match for the verts. Who wants to ride back down a zig-zagging skin track down the chute you worked so hard to get up!

Here’s a photo of my original verts, i have since bolted pucks on and it is great having no bindings on the backpack. I see no problem having the binding on the verts, in fact, the side-hilling and climbing in general seems way more stable and efficient then the flimsy straps the original verts use.

I purchased a pair of Karakoram clips early this winter, and installed them on a fresh cut d.i.y. split. I must say, this is the best addition to make my splitboard ride like a solid since spark bindings. Not sure how they work on an older d.i.y. or a factory split for that matter, but they work amazing for me… The torsional stiffness is greater with just the K-clips, then my voile clips and sparks together… Those things suck the half’s tiiight! Haven’t had an issue with the board folding or anything like that, and the clips are as snug as day 1.

I checked out a buddy’s Karakoram bindings, but im not sold yet on the set up- still gotta try em’… Love the Spark R&D’s

Those serows are the best boot I’ve ever ridden! I got a pair In o7 and they stopped making them ever since… Got 2 years out of that pair and found another lucky pair of o7’s for te o9 season which I’m still riding now…

Do you have any idea how to get ahold of some Japanese serows?? Those camo colors are sick!

Right on Jer, we dropped into a nice chute emptying in Cardiff, then took a run back to the road off the Cardiff south face…The south face rode surprisingly well due to all the northerly winds depositing that light density snow on the south faces… protected gullies held some great deep snow!
