• just wondering for those of you that own the fitwells, which crampons are you rocking. i know i need a semi but after that im getting a little lost from all the choices out there.

    thanks for any info

  • how in the world did you fit size 11.5 boots into the medium bindings

ill give you the whole story, im actually thinking maybe i shouldn’t sell them… My normal street size is a size 10, and ive always got burton driver x’s in a size 10. the last few seasons though ive had some pretty crazy foot pain and havent really been able to ride more than an hour (resort/splitting) its been really bad. so like i have the…[Read more]

im willing to take a hit on these, just go easy on me…..

  • i know its been discussed a bit in other threads before but i wonder if the smaller footprint boots have these days vs maybe years ago makes a difference (i.e. a size 10 has the footprint of a size 9)

  • i got the mediums, and just swapped out my 10 driver x’s to 10.5s, i havent been out yet, but from what i can see, im not seeing an issue with any toe/heel drag or any other issues with the straps. personally my experience with burton boots/bindings ive always gotten large bindings, but i took the chance that spark was right with the sizing, and…[Read more]

i normally wear 10’s but tend to have a bit of wider foot. as getting older i’m finding that i cant just assume my street shoe will automatically match up to some other shoe/boot.

  • i didnt want to start a whole new thread, but i just got my afterburners and couldnt be more excited, i noticed to change the rotation there’s 3 holes on each side of the highback to change the rotation…. my question, is when i did this i notice it seemed to automatically increase the forward lean angle… maybe i didnt do it correctly, but that…[Read more]

  • yes thats exactly my issue…. these are my first g3/sparks and i do love them, i guess im just not used to them. maybe i was complaining more about them then i should. i practiced with them a few more times and the issues seem to be not as bad.

i dont think i could chop mine either, big props on that one.

i guess i had more of an impression…[Read more]

  • ya ill make a video…. maybe im just not as used to swivels as maybe other guys are.

maybe its just me, but in my head i think i should just pull the swivels on and it should line up just fine.

could be too that i only trimmed one side and maybe thats off setting things a bit. i wanted to have as much skin as i could… .. i trimmed the outer…[Read more]

  • dont get me wrong i like them, but even before i cut them i pulled them onto each ski and they were not running parallel to the board. it was like that from the start, and when i say i have to focus….. i mean like micro-manage how they are going on…. other than that i love them. but its almost like tip swivel clips were put on at the wrong angle…

  • my little brother lives there, going to school. he’s a skier but rides with more splitborders than skiers, he says its a pretty big community there. depending on your situation you should probably be able to meet quite a few guys out there

  • where are you getting it at. i have the sparks (same thing) and i noticed that if i dont perfectly apply them to my board halfs that not only do i get a bit of a bulge toward the tips, the angle that they apply at actually takes the skins completely off the skis so they are more perpendicular than parallel. ive only been able to get out once this…[Read more]

  • ill chime in, for me the contour is the better choice, the new gopro3 has a bit higher specs, than the new contour but its size of the contour that matters most to me. personally i couldnt stand to have box sitting on the side of my head. i loved my contour but it did get a little glitchy after me and my buddy strapped it to his puppy and record…[Read more]

  • i guess this video got so many people worked up it was taken down off the facebook page it was posted on…

it really was just a terrible job. i can understand why the woman gave up the beacon, she should have instantly pulled it out, and at least start working her way down (safely) and everyone else should have started a visual search.. but even…[Read more]

  • from a report i found, apparently for 5 people…they only had two sets of rescue gear, and the skier that got buried had one set with him… 2 shovels, 2 probes, 2 beacons.. for 5 people…. this was some really poor judgment, and they were not familiar with the setup.

i think its mid video somewhere you can hear the buried skier tell the two…[Read more]

  • my sister lives in truckee… but can i spend the night at your guy’s place!!!! looks good guys stay safe

  • i just mine today, has anyone notice that the angle of their skins kind of seems to want to run diagonally off the board… mabye the g3 clips (nose of skin) are going to far down and maybe creating a weird angle…. also im finding the tail clip seems to not “sit” as well i thought it was going to, but thats not really issue .. gonna wax my skins…[Read more]
