(non snowboard trip) in the forum Splitboard Talk Forum 5 years, 10 months ago I got some bad news about NF3511. The road is gated and appears to have a transformer box next to the road. I’m not sure if someone is planning to develop back there or the road serves as a logging road. A lot of roads in that particular area are gated. I recon’ed the road to Laurance Lake and it’s open. I have to recon that road next time I’m in that area. nwboarder82 replied to the topic Local advice for a family camping spot near Mt Hood? (non snowboard trip) in the forum Splitboard Talk Forum 5 years, 10 months ago Yeah, you can car camp at the Tilly Jane trail head (off of Cloud Cap road) near the Cooper Spur Resort. I have seen it done several time. I don’t think anyone will hassle you there. You may have to compete for a parking spot depending on which day you arrive. People still hike the trail whether there’s snow or not. The road continuing pass the…[Read more] nwboarder82 replied to the topic Local advice for a family camping spot near Mt Hood? However, a lot people frequent this park on the weekends when it dumps. nwboarder82 replied to the topic Who's Winning? in the forum Splitboard Talk Forum 5 years, 11 months ago These guys are winning 13 feet in 24 hours http://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-blogs/weathermatrix/156-inches-of-snow-in-pyrenees-world-record/41689081 nwboarder82 replied to the topic Who's Winning? in the forum Splitboard Talk Forum 5 years, 11 months ago These guys are winning 13 feet in 24 hours nwboarder82 replied to the topic Who's Winning? in the forum Splitboard Talk Forum 5 years, 11 months ago These guys are winning 13 feet in 24 hours nwboarder82 replied to the topic The 2015/2016 Gear Thread in the forum Splitboard Talk Forum 5 years, 11 months ago I didn’t understand the huge gap in the middle either for the Rodin system. They call their system an “Alpine Split.” I guess there’s a demand to have the option to ski. nwboarder82 replied to the topic Northwave boot choices…anyone have experience? in the forum Boots 6 years ago So, I ended up returning the Legends and scored a pair of Domain SL this past summer.
