    Does anyone happen to know the internal size of the lean plate hole? Am away from home but wanted to buy a file of correct size so I can do the lean mod this weekend when I get back.

    Compared Speedfit to my wifes TLT6 (not sure if this would be even more flexible), the plastic tongue is definitely more rigid, though not as rigid as the removable tongue.

    Have ordered some TLT6’s I found online as a result, will then be able to do a direct comparison prior to deciding to return them, but suspect I will stick with the 6’s

    When I get some time will try and see in person, can always take my wife’s tlt6 along to compare. Called Au Vieux Campeur, the over the phone opinion was ‘boot is the exact same but no tongue as manufacturer found that people did not use it in practice. Same flex, material and shape.’

    Does anyone have a view (or hands on) yet on exactly how flexible the Speedfit tongue is vs the TLT6 without stiffener?

    For the Speedfit I would assume if there is no removable tongue, but you need to skin up AND ski down (and note Dynafit are targeting ON-piste tourers, so not driving a wide ski) then the tongue is likely to be ‘medium stiff’…[Read more]
