    HI Guys
I rode the new camber 167 in Gulmarg this winter.
I had a 167 blue topsheet DIY rocker before and it was my fav board so far. Didnt love the new camber nearly as much. Really hard to ride when on flat long traverses. Ive worn out my DIY and would love to get my hands on a solid 167 rocker to make another DIY

All the board companies are putting the touring inserts too far back. Some of the boards have to lift the climbing wire so the bindings don’t foul them. The further forward the easier the kick turn.

    Hi guys
The only binding that will work with Grey Voile crampons if the slider plate with your standard solid board binding attached.
The orange Voile crampon worked with the first version light rail
Then Voile changed the toe tour bracket and made it wider and I’m sure they don’t have a crampon for that.
Now there’s a new voile binding that will prob us the K2 Klicker crampon .

    Confusing !

Its been a while since I last posted!

Jimw is correct but the heal cup is longer so it is slightly longer with the heal cup adjustment. I used Lrg with the heal cup all the way froward on 285 fitwells, but there was a lot of slop in the heal of the boot vs the healcup of the bindings. Go to a shop and test it out

I have a contact on the inside @ Ranger and I’ll be testing some crampons of theirs and the attachment should work with Spark DRex crampon too!
    I hope I don’t need them this winter !

I’ve had a look and might just go with DIY Phantom cleats and my own pucks. Seems to be a little issue with the Prowder. Perhaps Prowder can chime in and give some more help on this?

I’ll be cutting a Rocker 167 very soon, cant wait to ride it this upcoming season!
Will be similar to the below link with Prowder or my canted pucks but I’ll be putting inserts in for touring.

Hope we get a good season DownUnder to really test it out !

Is this the old or new Furberg?

Can you give us some more info on the insert, perhaps a link?

You have to grind down the tnuts so they are just below deck height on the Voile and Burton channel systems.
The K2 system works different as they dont use a tnut, they have made a specific Al channel nut.
You will have to do this for Phantom and Karakoram.

    G3 Scapegoat Carbon 158,166,174 weighing in at 5lb 13oz

Got to fondle the 166 Scapegoat last weekend at Coldsmoke. Didn’t get to chatting with Richard, the rep, but I am super impressed. I like where splitboards are going, this is a serious mountain tool. Slap a titanal mounting plate in it for dynasplitters, get me a proform and I’m set for life.

Nice, the one board I want to try!

All SS316 so no chance it will snap!
Moved the top strap down slightly so it doesn’t pop open too.

Made the liner a little more secure buy adding laces, no more rubbing ankles.
