I’m sorry I didn’t tell you how rad this TR is Liz! October 1, 2014 at 12:20 am #677550 bcrider 4149 Posts I’m speechless. Liz was such and inspiration and amazing person. We never had the chance to ride together but we’ve communicated quite a bit over the years. Most recently just a few weeks ago we created a contributor acct for Liz and were really looking forward to it. She contributed a lot to our community over the years and will be dearly missed by many. Our deepest condolences go out to her family, friends, and fiancΓ©. I’m so sorry for your loss. Raise a toast for Liz Daley aka LizDee tonight and enjoy some of her awesome TRs. search.php?keywords=&terms=all&author=lizdee&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=topics&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search September 17, 2014 at 7:03 pm #676938 bcrider 4149 Posts Thanks PJ, love ya homie! :thatrocks: agreed on 10 year party and riding more this season too! :guinness: :doobie: :headbang: September 9, 2014 at 5:07 pm #677337 bcrider 4149 Posts Good to met you too tiltedworld! Well said. September 9, 2014 at 5:04 pm #677336 bcrider 4149 Posts Apologies for not haven an official review prepared! We got to play a little on Sunday and now its back to the day-job grind… My friend Tim Peare is much more disciplined however and recapped the event nicely here: http://snowboardmag.com/stories/jeremy-jones-higher-premiere I really enjoyed Higher and thought it closed the trilogy perfectly. There’s a lot of backstory to Jeremy’s life, family, career, etc shown and it told the story well. He’s a legend and an inspiration. Plain and simple. The way he approaches the mtns and the level he’s on is incredible. I feel privileged to live close enough to attend each of the premiers over the years and lucky to have met and gone splitboarding with Jeremy. Is it winter yet? :thatrocks: /not over it π August 26, 2014 at 4:55 pm #677167 bcrider 4149 Posts Thanks for your thoughts Hans and sorry my post was sorta brief and vague. The idea wasn’t a get rich quick scheme or a way to create a source of income. It was prompted for a few different reasons. We sometimes get folks that fall outside of the standard terms of use (personal use) that was intended for the swap section. As to not be taken advantage of this idea was presented. The new site platform (backend) allows for a somewhat easy process to create this option. This would allow folks that don’t have an image host or the tech skills to add images to their post the ability to do so. It has to be done at the admin level though, not the user level which means the prospective seller would send us the product images, description, and sale price. We’d then create the post for them. The seller and prospective buyer would work out payment and shipping. We were originally thinking a small flat percentage of the sale would be fair, say 5%. This would be a fee based on the sale not the listing. You bring up a good point though. From our standpoint, we’d be investing our time and energy to create the post and provide this service regardless of whether a sale was completed. So maybe its back to the drawing board. We don’t really have much time to invest for something that may not even pan out. The option was to be in addition to offering the free swap forum and process that is currently available to our readers. Hope that helps. Any more input is welcomed.
